The NAIOP Research Foundation announces the appointment of Vivek Sah, Ph.D., director of the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management and a professor of real estate in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU), as a Distinguished Fellow.

Sah oversees all aspects of the Burns School, including managing the undergraduate and graduate programs in the real estate and the built environment, fundraising, industry outreach, conducting innovative policy-oriented research, and forging strategic partnerships on campus, across the nation and around the world. Sah is also the co-director of the Affordable Housing program at DU that he launched in 2024 – one of the very few comprehensive and holistic executive programs in the country.

The Research Foundation’s Distinguished Fellows Program engages foremost commercial real estate, economic and public policy experts. Distinguished Fellows contribute articles to NAIOP’s Development magazine, present to the organization’s National Forums groups, and provide advice, feedback and information regarding research being conducted on behalf of the commercial real estate industry.
