March 11, 2024

NAIOP is partnering with RCLCO | CEL Compensation Advisors to conduct the 2024 Real Estate Compensation and Benefits Survey. A nationally known real estate advisor, RCLCO | CEL Compensation Advisors has conducted this survey – the largest in the industry – for 35 consecutive years.

This valuable survey is the national standard allowing commercial real estate businesses to stay current on salaries, bonuses and benefits for CRE professionals from executives to entry-level positions. Each company that participates in the survey will receive a complimentary electronic copy of the full comprehensive survey report – a $3,500 value!

This company-level survey should be completed by your company’s Human Resources or Financial/Accounting Executive. If needed, please forward this link to the appropriate person/department in your firm for overall company level participation. (Individual participants are not eligible.) You will need your NAIOP member ID to create a new account.

Complete the survey by May 15. Go to the survey.

All responses are strictly confidential.

The survey includes:

  • Submissions from nearly 400 companies
  • Salary, bonus, incentives and benefits for up to 200 CRE positions
  • Data from more than 140,000 distinct jobs in the office, industrial, retail and residential property sectors

You will have access to data you can sort by:

  • Company size (based on number of employees)
  • Company type (public or private)
  • Real estate specializations (development of office, industrial, retail, or residential; asset management; acquisitions, operations; and more)
  • Seven U.S. regions and up to 28 metro areas

Please note: If your company participated in a recent previous survey, the prior participant contacts will be sent an email directly from Janet Gora at RCLCO | CEL Compensation Advisors with the login to the current survey account and with select data preloaded from the prior year.

The 2024 survey has been expanded, including additional positions and sector-specific breakouts.

Please contact Janet Gora if you have any questions regarding the survey.
