NAIOP of Ohio is proud to announce that during NAIOP’s national Chapter Leadership & Legislative Retreat in Washington, D.C., Josh Gerth from the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter has been named the organization’s 2026 Volunteer of the Year. A Senior Vice President at JLL-Cincinnati, Gerth was recognized for his outstanding leadership, dedication to service, and significant contributions to advancing NAIOP’s mission and the commercial real estate industry throughout Ohio.

The Volunteer of the Year award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to NAIOP through sustained volunteer leadership, industry advocacy, and meaningful engagement with members and stakeholders. Gerth was nominated by his chapter and selected through a peer-driven process, reflecting the respect and recognition of colleagues across the organization.

We’re pleased to recognize Josh Gerth from our Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky chapter, for his meaningful contributions and dedication to NAIOP’s mission.”

He has played a key role in strengthening NAIOP’s presence and impact at both the chapter and statewide levels. He currently serves as Treasurer of the NAIOP of Ohio Board of Directors and previously served as Board President, where he helped elevate the organization’s public policy engagement, expand member participation, and strengthen NAIOP’s voice within Ohio’s commercial real estate community. He is also a former President of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter and a past recipient of NAIOP’s National Emerging Leaders Award.

Gerth’s leadership extends beyond NAIOP. He has demonstrated strong civic engagement through public service roles and community leadership initiatives, reflecting his commitment to responsible development and collaborative problem-solving. Professionally, he provides corporate real estate consulting services across Ohio and Kentucky and brings more than two decades of industry experience to his work.
