Lehigh Valley, located 90 minutes west of New York City and 60 minutes north of Philadelphia, is the 65th largest metropolitan region and one of the fastest growing industrial markets in the U.S. due to the transportation infrastructure, labor supply, and access to major markets. Visit multiple sites in the region, including Carson 33 in Easton, Chrin Commerce Center, an 800-acre complex offering retail, office, and industrial lots with tenants including, XPO Logistics, Porsche, Mondelez International and more. We’ll finish with a tour outside of Lehigh Valley: Bridge Point 78 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey is located on a 380 acre site that was home to the former Ingersoll Rand manufacturing plant. With almost 2.2 million square feet over four warehouses under development, it’s the biggest industrial project in the country this year.

Anheuser-Busch Experience Tour

Explore 1.7 million square feet of Anheuser-Busch’s brewing and warehouse space that allows for a brewing capacity of 9 million barrels of beer per year. See the brewery control room with its array of computer screens displaying data collected by a vast network of sensors, and the Greyhound Lounge tasting room complete with a soaring view of New York City and Newark International Airport. The central feature of public tasting room – an enormous, antique, intricately decorated bar that bears the scars of age – was salvaged from “somewhere in St. Louis,” according to the company, as in the other 11 Anheuser-Busch breweries.

Newark Airport/FedEx Operations Tour
7:15 a.m. - noon

This unique field visit includes a tarmac-side tour of the Newark Liberty International Airport’s (EWR) extensive domestic and international cargo operations. EWR is the 11th largest cargo airport in the U.S., and a major hub for express carriers FedEx and UPS, with nearly 1 million square feet of total cargo facility space. Attendees will also have the chance to tour FedEx operations at the airport, including aircraft.

Multi-modal Supply Chain Tour
7:45 a.m. - noon

See state-of-the-art multi-modal facilities essential to supply chains in the region. At Greenville Yard, participants will see one of the only rail car floats in North America, which connects New York with the North American rail freight network and is undergoing a multi-million dollar upgrade. Next, the new on-dock rail for GCT Bayonne, which formally opened in June 2019, as well as see the semi-automated GCT Bayonne Maritime Terminal, which handles the new large neo-Panamax container vessels and has a state-of-the-art truck appointment system.
