As America becomes increasingly consumer-centric – and consumers demand near instant delivery of goods to their doors – online grocery sales have continued to rise in popularity. According to research from Nielsen, online grocery sales reached $20.5 billion in 2016 and are expected to increase to $103.3 billion in 2025, making up 20 percent of total grocery retail sales.
