Exploring the New Sharing Economy Webinar: June 16

Exploring the Sharing Economy

Exploring the New Sharing Economy Webinar
Tuesday, June 16, 2015
12:30-1:30 p.m. (EDT)

The Exploring the New Sharing Economy webinar is based on the white paper published by the NAIOP Research Foundation. This white paper examines how the sharing economy is impacting businesses and communities around the globe as companies and organizations explore new ways to provide access to goods and services, often through networks of individuals connected via the Internet and mobile apps. These systems enable individuals and groups to make use of excess capacity while avoiding or minimizing many of the burdens — storage, maintenance and operating costs — associated with ownership.

The webinar, presented by John Madden, Director of Sustainability and Engineering Campus + Community Planning, University of British Columbia, the author of the white paper, also explores the various approaches of policy makers and regulators in tackling the complex issues associated with this emerging economic system.

This webinar is provided by the NAIOP Research Foundation at no charge. Register online for this webinar and download the Foundation’s new white paper.
