As Vice President of Leasing and Development, Jake is responsible for maintaining occupancy in Duke Realty’s Southern California industrial portfolio and identifying new development and investment opportunities in the Los Angeles and Orange County markets. Before joining Duke Realty, Smith was Vice President with DCT Industrial for four years, focused on leasing and acquisitions in the Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego markets. His previous experience also includes serving as Director of Acquisitions at The Bendetti Company, where he sourced investment opportunities, structured debt and oversaw capital projects.
