Michael Montante is the Chief Executive Officer of Uniland Development Company, with offices in Buffalo and Rochester, New York. Uniland is a full-service commercial real estate development firm with broad experience across many product types and related services. Founded in 1974, the company has developed more than 16 million square feet throughout the Buffalo and Rochester markets, including over eight million square feet under management. Uniland is expanding its portfolio with new coworking, industrial, mixed-use development, residential, renewable energy, and new market projects. Mr. Montante's executive oversight ranges from site selection and development to tenant negotiations and asset management of Uniland’s broad office, industrial, retail, residential, and hospitality development portfolio. He also directs the ongoing operations of Uniland’s departments and company subsidiaries, which span the full range of commercial real estate services from site acquisition and planning and design to construction and property management. Mr. Montante has a B.S. in Business from Canisius University and an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He has served on NAIOP’s Corporate Board and is currently a Diversified Property Development National Forum member.
