Roland Neary is vice president of business development at Deacon Construction, bringing more than 30 years of hands-on construction and development experience to commercial projects throughout California. He previously owned and operated a large commercial concrete and framing company for over 20 years, as well as a material supply company for more than a decade, managing projects of all sizes with up to 120 employees. Although retired from ownership, he retains active B and C-8 contractor licenses and draws on his deep field experience in his current role. Neary is a board member of the California Business Properties Association and is actively involved with several NAIOP chapters, including service on the Sacramento Valley chapter board and conference planning roles. He is known for his collaborative approach and passion for bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful, context-sensitive projects.
