Skyler Wonnacott is vice president of government relations at the California Business Properties Association (CBPA), bringing more than a decade of experience in California legislative, communications and campaign strategy. His career includes senior roles at the state capitol with assemblymembers Jim Beall, Jr., Jim Cooper, and Stephanie Nguyen, most recently serving as chief of staff and principal advisor on legislative priorities and committee strategy. Wonnacott has led high-profile legislative and media efforts, directing communications, managing complex policy issues, and navigating high-stakes political environments. He has also founded and led SkyBlue Campaigns, advising state and local candidates on messaging, grassroots advocacy, and campaign operations. Known for his strong relationships within the state capitol, Wonnacott plays a central role in advancing CBPA’s legislative agenda and coalition efforts across California.
