Based out of Savannah, Georgia, Maene leads Avison Young's Technology Management team. In his role as global product director, he oversees the conceptualization, design, execution and deployment of the company's proprietary technology, AVANT. Servicing clients through a sector-specific lens, Maene and his team build location intelligence software that aims to bring A.I. to the forefront of location strategy efforts, dramatically reducing the need for manual data analytics and interpretation. Maene joined the team in 2019 when he founded company's analytics team, which analyzes market and real estate-adjacent data to help inform strategic decision-making. Drawing on his combined background in fine arts and geography, Maene continues to blend elements of design, technology and urbanism in order to craft meaningful and engaging products for the firm's clients and executive teams.
