Keven McGhan, MBA., is an instructor in the JR Shaw School of Business (NAIT) in Edmonton Alberta. NAIT is a leader in polytechnic business education and one of the largest business schools in Western Canada. The JR Shaw School of Business partners with industry to ensure students build relevant skills that employers need most. Keven is focused onbuilding mutually beneficial partnerships between the JR Shaw School of Business and industry.
Academic responsibilities include Capstone, a fourth year six-credit course where students work with industry partners developing strategies to take advantage of opportunities or mitigate challenges. Under his supervision, students employ applied research and design thinking methods producing environmental analysis, alternatives and recommendations, and implementation strategies for their industry partners. Keven also teaches a Sales Management class where students use case method to resolve live cases presented by industry partners.
Keven is the Faculty Advisor for Enactus NAIT and the NAIT Students Case Completion Club. Enactus is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action.
Keven holds an MBA from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge and a Finance Diploma from NAIT and was named a NAIOP Distinguished Fellow in 2020.
