Mark Russo is vice president and head of industrial research at Savills, leading industrial research across North America. Since joining the firm in 2021, he has focused on elevating how industrial market trends are analyzed and communicated—turning complex data into insights that drive real estate decisions. He oversees research initiatives spanning more than 20 billion square feet of industrial space across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Russo develops analytics platforms that bring clarity to occupiers, investors and brokers navigating a rapidly evolving sector. He leads flagship publications including the Ports Report and Manufacturing Report and has built integrated market tracking systems that enhance Savills thought leadership and client strategy. Prior to Savills, Russo held research roles at Newmark and LaSalle Investment Management. At Newmark, he helped build a national industrial research platform and led research initiatives for the firm’s New Jersey office. At LaSalle’s global headquarters in Chicago, he managed proprietary forecasting models covering major U.S. industrial markets.
