Lex is Executive Director, Real Estate Investments for the Southeast region with Affinius Capital. He is responsible for the region's involvement in acquisitions, development, build-to-suits, joint ventures, and capital transactions which also includes senior and mezzanine debt, and preferred equity financing structures. Lex oversees all aspects of the deal process including sourcing transactions, market and property underwriting, due diligence, venture structuring, and closing across a variety of strategies with multiple capital sources. Additional responsibilities include supporting the initiatives of other company departments, working cohesively with the investment management team to develop transaction strategy, and advocating and presenting transactions to investment committee. Lex is a former member of the Board of Directors and served as the Developing Leaders representative on the Executive Committee. He is a past member of the National Forums Advisory committee. Lex has been a member of the Deal and Investment Concepts Forum since its inception in 2011 and served as its chair.
