Keynote: The COVID Recession and the U.S. Economy – What's Next?

Christopher Thornberg, Ph.D.
Founding Partner
Beacon Economics

With the economic effects of the COVID-19 recession fading further into our collective rear view mirror, the impact of the massive fiscal stimulus that was rolled out across the U.S. economy during the crisis now takes center stage. The unprecedented level of stimulus created an enormous amount of private sector wealth, which is showing in the form of high savings rates, excessive consumption, rapidly rising asset markets and exploding home prices.

How are commercial real estate markets being affected? When will price inflation end? Are current supply chain disruptions going to extend throughout the year? Beacon Economics' Founding Partner Christopher Thornberg, Ph.D., will present a comprehensive economic forecast for the nation and discuss the most important trends that will affect consumers, businesses, and investors through 2022 and beyond.
