Keynote Speaker

Gina Raimondo

A Conversation with Sec. Gina Raimondo

Gina Raimondo, U.S. Secretary of Commerce (2021-2025) and first woman governor of Rhode Island (2015-2021), is a distinguished leader known for her efforts to drive economic growth, foster innovation and increase opportunities for all Americans.

As Secretary of Commerce, she was focused on making America more competitive by spurring well-paying jobs, empowering entrepreneurs to innovate and grow, and advancing our economic and national security. Under her leadership, the Department of Commerce made historic investments in internet access, manufacturing, economic development, workforce training, supply chain resiliency and climate readiness through the implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.

In an enlightening fireside chat with NAIOP President and CEO Marc Selvitelli, Raimondo will share her expertise on a range of topics impacting the global economic landscape, including U.S. policy implications for business and trade; supply chain optimization; how businesses can navigate market shifts; and the responsible development and implementation of artificial intelligence.

Raimondo's keynote will be held Wednesday, June 4, at 2:30 p.m. at Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson.
