As Vice President of Engineering, Cathey leads SPP’s evolving, innovative approach to consolidated transmission planning, and oversees the ongoing development of the organization’s transmission expansion plan, administration of generator interconnection and transmission service study processes, and the advancement of regional resource adequacy policies. Hired in 2006, Cathey has served in various key roles at SPP including Senior Director of Grid Asset Utilization where he led a group responsible for developing and implementing novel electric industry policies, tools, and procedures aimed at preparing SPP for the grid of the future. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Louisiana State University, an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arkansas.

Legacy has completed >$3B in transactions in data centers, logistics assets, and life science buildings. Prior to co-founding Legacy Investing, Daniel was a tech start-up executive with leadership roles across M&A, corporate development, strategy, and product management.

Jeremy Gabe joined USD in 2019. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate real estate courses in real estate finance, sustainability, market analysis and housing policy. Prior to USD, Gabe spent 15 years in the New Zealand real estate and architecture research community, consulting with governments and industry councils interested in the adoption of green building practices and green building assessment tools. His applied research addresses the value of urban design, adoption of sustainable building practices and housing affordability. He regularly wins awards from leading academic societies. Gabe was a founding member of the Future Leaders of the American Real Estate Society (ARES) and currently serves as director of the ARES Doctoral Program. Gabe was promoted to associate professor of real estate and granted tenure effective September 2023. In 2024, he was named the Capsatone Advisors Endowed Professor in Real Estate.

Jesse LeCavalier is a designer and researcher interested in infrastructure and logistics. He is the author of The Rule of Logistics: Walmart and the Architecture of Fulfillment (University of Minnesota Press, 2016), and his work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the MoMA, the Canadian Center for Architecture, the Oslo Triennale, and the Seoul Biennale. LeCavalier is associate professor of architecture at the Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning where he directs the NYC-based Master of Science in Advanced Urban Design (MSAUD).

Doug has over 30 years experience in the industrial sector with leadership positions in some of the most highly respected companies in the industry. Doug recently was the leader of the Indianapolis regional office for Opus Development Company where he completed over 10 million square feet of developments throughout the Midwest. Prior to that, Doug held leadership positions with First Industrial Realty Trust, Heitman Properties and DHL Supply Chain. Doug has completed millions of square feet of transactions and has worked on projects in multiple markets across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Doug resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and youngest of four children. Doug is a long-time member of NAIOP where he is currently a Research Foundation Governor as well as a member of the Industrial V Development Forum. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Ohio State University and enjoys golfing and traveling with his family.

Raj leads Thor’s Data Center program across the Americas, bringing 20+ years of sr. management experience from Google and Deloitte. Before joining Thor Equities, Raj led Data Center acquisitions across the Americas for Google. During his tenure at Google, Raj also held roles as Global Lead of Economic and Community Development (ECD) and regional leadership roles overseeing Google’s Data Center acquisitions in the US-Central and Latin American regions. In leading Google’s ECD program, Raj led global programs in Economic Development, Public Affairs, Workforce Development, Social Impact and Content Development. Prior to Google, Raj was a Sr. Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Real Estate and Location Strategy practice group where he advised a wide range of multinational Fortune 500 companies on global location strategy engagements.

Ben Wobschall joined CBRE’s Data Center Capital Markets Team in 2024, focusing on the capitalization of data center investment properties throughout North America.
Mr. Wobschall has over 20 years of experience in institutional real estate investment management covering asset management, acquisitions and dispositions, development, joint ventures, capital raising, and portfolio management. Across his career, he has completed transactions totaling over 28 million square feet of real estate with a combined capitalization exceeding $5 billion.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Wobschall served as Managing Director at Principal Asset Management where he oversaw investment strategy and execution of data center assets including the Principal Digital Real Estate Fund—an opportunistic data center investment vehicle launched in 2020.
Mr. Wobschall is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Finance & Real Estate.
