Over time, he has played the role of the field engineer, estimating engineer, regional sales engineer, regional sales manager, northeast region manager, and director of sales for multiple large, technically challenging ground improvement projects. He has evaluated and implemented new Menard techniques and helped clients understand the costs and risk associated with their ground improvement support of foundations.

He began his career in international transportation and logistics with United States Lines in 1985, and later served in multiple management roles with Mitsui OSK Lines throughout the 1990s. He then went on to work in the logistics technology industry for a few years, and then transitioned 3PL industry with FMI International and Toll Global Forwarding, before joining the GPA in 2013.
