His past developments include the 1.8 million square foot Exchange mixed-use development in Hawthorne, California, and over 350,000 square feet of commercial space in Calabasas and Santa Monica.

Celeste was previously Director of Real Estate Development for Opus Development Company and led the real estate project team for the Denver office of Opus. In her career she has played a key role in the ground-up development of more than 5 million square feet of commercial and multifamily space, and has represented the industry both locally and nationally through her leadership in organizations such as NAIOP.

Prior to joining MRP Industrial, she was the principal of AMK Partners, a certified woman-owned business that provided third party owner’s representation and development management of light industrial projects for private and institutional developers.

Ms. Haughom is a member of the Portfolio Management team in the Ares Real Estate Group. Ms. Haughom spends majority of her time on one of Ares’ industrial development funds, where she runs fund modeling and analyses, property valuations, fund and investor reporting, and business planning processes. She also assists with overall fund strategy, investment decision making, and investor relations. Ms. Haughom also serves as a committee member for Ares Network of Empowered Women and is an active participant in campus recruiting and Ares internship programs.

Prior to joining Ares in 2021 Ms. Haughom was an Associate at Black Creek Group in Portfolio Management. Prior to joining Black Creek Group, Leslie spent three years at Chatham Financial as a Treasury Advisory Manager, where she assisted clients in quantifying foreign currency and interest rate risk, developed strategies to mitigate said risk, and oversaw the execution of the agreed upon strategy. Prior to Chatham, Ms. Haughom worked at CAST Management Consultants (now West Monroe Partners) as a Senior Consultant where she provided strategy and analytical consulting services to a variety of clients across the financial services sector.

Ms. Haughom holds a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from The University of Southern California in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics and a Master of Business Administration, Degree with Honors, from The University of Chicago – Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Finance. Ms. Haughom also holds a Certificate in Real Estate Investment from the Harvard Extension School. Ms. Haughom is a NAIOP Developing Leaders National Forum cochair and will serve on the NAIOP Executive Committee as the 2022 Developing Leader Representative.
