Impact of NAFTA on Industrial Real Estate
The world's largest free trade zone was created with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Since then, intra-regional trade flows have grown exponentially and foreign direct investment into the region has seen an uptick, impacting the continental supply chain. Fast forward 20 years and, with new trends on global value chains and the proliferation of new multilateral treaties, such as the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), is NAFTA´s role in North America’s competitiveness still significant, vis-à-vis Europe, Latin America and Asia. Speakers will represent companies from Canada, Mexico and the U.S.
