Steven Teitelbaum

Steve Teitelbaum is a Senior Real Estate Advisor at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), the second-largest transit authority in the United States. WMATA has one of the most active real estate development programs of any transit authority in the United States, with more than 30 sales or ground leases of various properties as it attempts to inspire transit-oriented development around its Metro stations. His current projects include proposed multiple-phase developments at the New Carrollton and Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Stations, WMATA’s own headquarters relocation project, and some smaller projects.
He earned his college and law degrees at Columbia University in New York.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and an adjunct instructor in the Masters of Science in Real Estate program at American University in Washington, D.C., where he teaches the course in Real Estate Development.
