Steve White is a principal and the Washington, D.C., studio director of Fentress Architects, a Denver-based design firm actively engaged in civic and commercial projects around the globe. He has more than 20 years’ experience designing buildings in Washington, D.C., nationally and internationally. His clients include the National Gallery of Art, Beijing BCSOMC, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Boston Properties, among others. He is a National Peer for the GSA National Register of Peer Professionals and was the 2015 President of the D.C. Chapter of the AIA. Fentress Architects has been a leader in structural innovation since the design of the Denver International Airport over 20 years ago. He began working on mass timber projects over a year ago; the firm has integrated mass timber into sustainable projects such as the RDU Terminal and currently for projects in design in Seattle, Denver and Washington, D.C.
