Symposium 2017: The Panelists

We are fortunate to work, live and play in a thriving state, but it does not come without its challenges. Challenges such as homelessness, air quality and recruitment, are all issues impacting the community and commercial real estate industry. It is our job as professionals to understand, accept and influence change to keep the momentum going.

For the 2017 NAIOP Utah Commercial Real Estate Symposium, we brought together a distinguished panel to address these challenges and offer possible solutions.

  • Moderator: Michael Morris, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, Zions Bancorporation
  • Homelessness: Robert G. Marbut, Jr., Ph.D., Marbut Consulting
  • Recruiting: Stephanie Frohman, Director Global Strategy & Outreach, EDCUtah
  • Air Quality: Ted Wilson, Executive Director, Utah Clean Air Partnership

Symposium 2016: Shaped by the Past Panelists

For the 2016 Symposium, NAIOP Utah brought together a distinguished group of senior real estate leaders to discuss a variety of issues in an informal setting. Springing from the theme “Building a Future…Shaped by the Past,” and led in discussion by Zions Bancorporation’s Chief Credit Officer and friend, Michael Morris, the five entrepreneurs shared light-hearted stories that correlated with essential lessons learned during their storied careers in the real estate industry. We thank all involved for their help in coordinating, conducting, and producing this exclusive meeting held at the Alta Club on January 8, 2016.
