Dr. Thomas Hamilton, CRE, FRICS is the Gerald Fogelson Distinguished Chair in Real Estate at Roosevelt University’s Heller College of Business. Previously he was a commercial real estate professor at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. He is founder and president of Karvel-Hamilton Real Estate Analytics/PROTEC. He holds B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Wyoming. He has been a consultant to the telecommunications and utility industries in the United States for over 20 years. Dr. Hamilton is an independent board member of AEI Core Property Income Trust, Inc., and is a licensed real estate broker and a licensed appraiser. He is a former Fellow and Adjunct Faculty member of the Lincoln Land Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and former Research Associate with the International Association of Assessing Officers in Chicago, Illinois.
