Sustainable Development Award
The NAIOP Sustainable Development Award is an annual honor that recognizes a commercial real estate developer for an outstanding project that incorporates sustainable design and construction elements and results in an environmentally-efficient property that is economically successful.
NAIOP established the Sustainable Development Award (formerly the Green Development Award) in 2005 to acknowledge a member company that best exemplifies innovation, efficiency and quality in sustainable development. The award was developed in consultation and support by the U.S. Green Building Council.
The NAIOP Sustainable Development Award winner is honored with considerable publicity through NAIOP publications, including a feature article in the winter issue of Development magazine, recognition at the NAIOP Development conference and an award and plaque for the building.
