NAIOP Names Developing Leaders Award Recipients
Awardees to be recognized at development '07: the annual meeting for commercial real estate

Washington, D.C. - The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) will honor 15 up-and-coming professionals in the commercial real estate industry as winners of the 2007 Developing Leaders Award. The award recipients were chosen by a selection committee comprised of NAIOP members and industry leaders.

NAIOP established the award, sponsored by its Diversity Task Force, in 2006 to recognize professionals age 35 or less who have distinguished themselves within their profession and who show great promise to become influential leaders in the commercial real estate industry. Award applicants were evaluated on the following criteria: leadership, professional competency, career goals, education, NAIOP participation and community involvement.

The recipients of the 2007 Developing Leaders Award are:

• Brian Carcaterra - Director, Newmark Knight Frank, Greenwich, Conn.
• Algenon Cash - Managing Director, Wharton Gladden & Company LLC, Greensboro, N.C.
• Steve W. Colgate - Director of Development, Kobra Enterprises, Roseville, Calif.
• Kevin A. Hollins - Principal and Executive Vice President, Hollins Partners LLC, Baltimore, Md.
• Paul Julian - Development Manager, Maguire Properties, Los Angeles, Calif.
• Suzette La Grange - Vice President, Colliers International, Las Vegas, Nev.
• Anna Lewison - Associate Real Estate Manager, Opus Northwest LLC, Bellevue, Wash.
• Ryel Kestenbaum - Project Manager, Focus Property Group, Denver, Colo.
• Scott Marcus - Principal, RSM Development LLC, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
• Thomas McDaniel - Director of Office Leasing and Investment, Boyle Investment Co., Nashville, Tenn.
• Olivia Millar - Associate, Mancini Duffy, Washington, D.C.
• Kyle Nagy - Director, CommCap Advisors, Henderson, Nev.
• Frank L. Pinto - Project Development Manager, Forrester Construction Company, Rockville, Md.
• Marco Arthur Vartanian - Assistant Vice President, Buchanan Street Partners, Newport Beach, Calif.
