American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) – Energy-efficient commercial equipment guide, building performance programs, evaluation tools, case studies and information on emerging technologies.

BuildCarbonNeutral – Construction carbon calculator tool for developers and architects to estimate the embodied energy and subsequent carbon amounts released during construction.

Building Environmental Science & Technology – Features an information center for designers, builders and developers, an online reference guide and case studies of environmental design projects.

Building Green – Links to information on the design process, land use, development and more, with news from environmental building journals.

Commercial Real Estate Energy Alliance (CREEA) - An informal, industry-led association of commercial property owners and operators coordinated by the Department of Energy (DOE) as part of the Net-Zero Energy Commercial Building Initiative (CBI). CREEA works with DOE and DOE's national laboratories to advance efficient building technologies, promote the construction of high-performance buildings, and reduce the energy consumption and carbon footprint of the commercial real estate.

Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA) - Listing by state for concrete, drywall and asphalt shingle recycling as well as materials sites.

Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency – The DSIRE Web site provides a fast and convenient method for accessing information about renewable energy and energy efficiency incentives and regulatory policies administered by federal and state agencies, utilities and local organizations. Summary maps provide a geographical perspective of the availability of each renewable energy incentive type across the U.S. Summary tables provide an overview of renewable energy and energy efficiency incentives offered in each state. Also provided is a library of renewable energy policy reports, papers and presentations and links to other renewable energy resources on the Internet.

Environmental Design + Construction Magazine – A magazine "dedicated to efficient and sustainable building," with feature articles, industry news and product information.

GreenBiz – News, whitepapers, publications, blogs, Podcasts and more on this comprehensive site of sustainability topics. Case studies, daily news and an "Ask the Green Architect" monthly Q&A column can be found on the GreenerBuildings tab at the top.

Green Globes – An online assessment tool and rating system for green building design, operation and management.

High Performance Buildings Database – U.S. Department of Energy Buildings Technologies Program site on over 120 buildings. Search by project name, owner, location or building type and size.

Just Smart Green.com – Monthly Webcasts, bi-monthly newsletters, case studies, press releases, on-line networking tools, and industry news to keep you informed on the latest trends and technologies for buildings.

Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EREN) – Current news about renewable energy, including its place in building development and maintenance and power technology. Specialized resources include a forum for communicating with energy experts, financing options and national and local resources.

Rocky Mountain Institute – RMI's strategic focus, executed through specific initiatives designed to take our work rapidly to scale, is to map and drive the transition from coal and oil to efficiency and renewables.

Sustainable Buildings Industry Council – A consortium of trade associations, architects, manufacturers and other professionals in the building industry who support the design and construction of high-performance buildings, which can provide maximum payback with minimal first-cost increases.

Sustainable Facilities Tool – Walk through the planning, evaluation and implementation of sustainable projects with this tool from the General Services Administration.
