U.S. Green Building Council: Information about the LEED certification program, plus an extremely comprehensive annotated list of resources about green/sustainable development. Also available is a Summary of LEED® Incentives for Counties, Cities & Towns. This document summarizes efforts on the state and local level to build incentive-based programs for the development of green buildings, with a focus on the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED Rating System. Government incentives are categorized as either emanating from the state or local level.

Green Globes: The Green Building Initiative promotes the Green Globes system, a green management tool that includes an assessment protocol, rating system and guide for integrating environmentally friendly design into commercial buildings.
