According to the Fourth Annual Allen Matkins/CTG/Green Building Insider Green Building Survey, 92 percent of more than 1,600 design and construction professionals across the U.S. support sustainable building. However, support for LEED certification decreased to 62 percent. The survey addressed current attitudes toward sustainable building, risks, costs, certification processes and trends. Saving energy and other operating expenses was the number one reason for building sustainable projects. http://www.allenmatkins.com/emails/GreenSurvey/index.asp
