How to Apply · Current Distinguished Fellows

Distinguished Fellows may be nominated by NAIOP Chapter Presidents and members of the Corporate Board of Directors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Holds an advanced degree in a real estate-related field
  • Is employed full-time in research or academia
  • Has significant experience as a researcher and/or educator
  • Has published articles, books or research findings

Interested candidates must submit the following:

  • Letter of Nomination:
    A letter of nomination written by a NAIOP Chapter President or member of the Corporate Board of Directors.
  • Cover Letter:
    Should include full name, university or institution address, phone, fax and email.
  • Curriculum Vitae:
    Information should include and is not limited to: professional experience, education, area of expertise, academic publications, presentations, professional memberships and professional development. If you are submitting your information for review by email and your Curriculum Vitae is online, provide us with the link or Web site information.

In the Fall of each year, the Distinguished Fellows Credentialing Committee reviews all applications and candidates are notified of their status. In making appointments, the committee endeavors to achieve diversity.
