Boyd Stofer was chairman and CEO of Marquette Real Estate Group, located in Minneapolis. He demonstrated his belief in the work of NAIOP and the Research Foundation through his active participation as a National Board member, Minnesota Chapter president, National Forums member, and Research Foundation Governor.
The Distinguished Fellows program is an important bridge between the academic and commercial development communities. Fellows fulfill the Research Foundation's mission by making cutting-edge information and analysis available to help us better understand the business environment and serve the needs of our customers and communities. The Fund will support the program's educational and outreach activities and will benefit NAIOP Forum members, Developing Leaders, and NAIOP members at the Chapter level. A named Distinguished Fellow will be appointed from a prominent university real estate program. The Fund will also transform the existing program as it will help to recruit the very best candidates from leading academic institutions across the nation.
