Add To Calendar

This tour features two award-winning projects: the Goya Foods distribution facility and the Macy’s Parade Studio. Goya’s facility, which received the NAIOP New Jersey 2012 Economic Impact Award, was built on a 40-acre brownfield site where it was transformed into a sustainable state-of-the-art industrial distribution facility and headquarters for the largest Hispanic-owned food manufacturing company in the U.S. The 631,000 square foot facility is the company’s main distribution center in the country.

The Macy's Parade Studio, winner of the NAIOP New Jersey 2011 Creative-Industrial Deal of the Year Award, is a build-to-suit development on a 7.77 acre-site in Moonachie, N.J. Macy’s layout and spatial needs were unique and specific, requiring twice the square footage of its former location with a fully specialized build-out that could facilitate and streamline float, décor, prop and giant balloon design and construction. This creative industrial space employs 100 skilled artisans and technicians and displays parade memorabilia, trivia, float and balloon design from thought to inflation.
