Tell Us a Story…
Don't be shy! Development magazine, the quarterly NAIOP publication, seeks compelling and timely feature articles on completed office, industrial and mixed-use developments. These articles are written by NAIOP members and must illustrate issues and trends in our industry.
Because they are written for a sophisticated audience of your peers, these articles should offer as detailed a look as possible at the strategy, challenges, partnerships and insights (lessons learned and/or best practices) behind the project's development/construction, financing and/or management process.
We are also interested in commercial real estate industry topics with national application. Whether it's a new or redevelopment project or the latest information on an intriguing subject, we want to hear from you!
Editorial Process
Send a query first to developmentmagazine@naiop.org! E-mail us about your article idea, with a brief outline of what you have in mind and why it merits publication. We will then contact you to discuss and refine your topic.
Following a "green light" decision to publish, we will confirm content and specify what the article should cover and how to submit it. Typically, authors are given 4-6 weeks to complete an article. The article and high resolution photography should be submitted at the same time.
