These e-mail templates must be saved on your computer, and then accessed through Outlook for use. Follow these instructions to download and use the templates.
Outlook 2007
- Click on the link above and select "Open". A separate Zip file box will open on your screen, and you'll see a file inside called "Dev10 Speaker E-mail.oft" or "Dev10 E-mail.oft". Save the file to your computer by right clicking on the file and choosing "Extract". Browse to where you want to save the file and click "Extract". Note where you've saved it, as you'll later need to navigate to it. Recommend to save the file in the "Templates" folder of Outlook, or on your desktop for easy access.
- Alternatively, instead of right clicking and selecting "Extract", simply double click on the file to immediately open it in Outlook.
- If you have "extracted" the file and saved it on your computer, now go to Outlook, choose "Tools" and then "Forms".
- Select "Choose a Form". From the "Look In" drop-down list, select "User Templates in File System." Navigate to the location where you saved the file you downloaded.
- Select the template name. This will open the message in an e-mail window.
- Customize the message by adding your personal or company name. Add a subject line and recipients.
- Click "Send" to distribute your message.
Outlook 2003
