Making the Grade: A Look inside an Innovative Student Housing Project

This session will examine a nine-story student housing project in Rochester, Minn., being built for the University of Minnesota-Rochester. The project commenced construction in the spring of 2010 and will open in time for the 2011 academic year. We'll begin by exploring how developers can diversify their platforms and incorporate student housing as a unique opportunity beyond office, industrial and retail. In addition, we will detail the unique public/private structure - how the City of Rochester successfully partnered with the University in making this project a reality.
