Hotel Reservations
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay is offering a special rate of $255 single/double, exclusive of taxes. Please note the hotel requires a one-night room and tax deposit at time of reservation. The discounted rate will be offered until September 19, 2008, or until the room block has been filled, whichever occurs first. Please note: our special negotiated group rate includes access for all NAIOP attendees staying in THEhotel to access their spa/fitness center - a $30 per day value!

The rate will be extended for three days before and after the room block dates (October 14th-October 26th), subject to availability.
Please Note: All hotel changes and cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to date of arrival.
Car Rental
AVIS has been appointed the official car rental company of development '08: the annual meeting for commercial real estate. Your special low AVIS rates are good from one week before to one week after the meeting.

Transportation
THEhotel does not offer a shuttle service. Shuttles are available at the airport and they drop off at all the major strip hotels. THEhotel is usually either the very first drop off or the very last drop off. Shuttles generally cost $4-$6 per person. Varieties of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarran, and are located on the north and west sides of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-14. The Limousine service that we recommend is CLS Limo. You may locate them at www.clslimo.com or call directly at (702) 740-4545. Taxi service costs $16-$20 for up to 5 people and will bring you directly to Mandalay Bay. Taxicabs are available outside on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-5. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers.

Parking
THEhotel offers complimentary self and valet parking for all registered hotel guests. Simply follow signs to THEhotel parking garage (which is separate from Mandalay Bay Resort).
What to Pack
Average October temperatures range from a day time high of 85 degrees to an evening low of 46 degrees. Attire is business casual. Include a sweater or light jacket as temperatures in the meeting rooms may vary.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations of registrants received after September 22, 2008, will be charged a fee of $100 per attendee. Cancellations received after October 10, 2008, will forfeit the registration fee. You may send a substitute in your place without a penalty. No refunds will be made for no-shows.
