NAIOP's Advanced Real Estate Finance course is recommended for the real estate professional with intermediate to senior-level experience, or one who has completed the Basic Finance: Understanding Your ProForma course. It is ideal for developers, asset managers, owners or anyone responsible for managing real estate capital markets and navigating an ever-evolving market cycle. Each course topic blends cutting-edge academic intelligence with real-world industry expertise that provides a road map for analyzing investment and financing decisions in development at both the headquarters and project levels. The course covers capital markets, sources of private equity, structuring deals, financial feasibility analysis, risk management and new innovations in the debt financing side of the capital structure. In addition to providing a platform for peer-to-peer networking and information sharing, course attendees will participate in unique case studies that entail the physical restructuring of an asset bound with the financial structuring of an investment partnership. Some pre-course preparation may be required.
