Sustainable Development Committee
Purpose:
The committee will examine sustainable development and recommend how NAIOP should address it within the market and among its members. It will help monitor federal, state and local legislative and regulatory efforts, and communicate the status of such to our members and the appropriate Government Affairs committee. It will also advise on matters of education, public relations, strategic alliances and help to identify research needed to support our initiatives.
Qualifications:
Committee members are expected to be commercial real estate professionals experienced in sustainable development. Members will be asked to actively participate in the discussions and deliberations of the committee via conference call, and three in-person meeting (See meeting schedule).
