Industry Trends Task Force
Purpose:
To identify, and effectively communicate to the NAIOP membership, trends that will impact their business in the intermediate to long term (three-five years). The Industry Trends Task Force draws upon the knowledge of the most senior members of NAIOP, as well as selected rising stars from among the Developing Leaders members and the best academic minds, represented by selected NAIOP Distinguished Fellows. This committee serves as an early warning system regarding challenges and opportunities for our members and provides vision and guidance to the leadership of NAIOP.
Qualifications:
All Past Chairs of the NAIOP Corporate Board and Governors of the NAIOP Research Foundation are invited to serve on the Industry Trends Task Force for an unlimited term. Additionally, three Developing Leaders and three NAIOP Distinguished Fellows are appointed for a one-year term. These appointments are for a one-year term, and are based upon the following criteria:
- NAIOP members
- CEOs or senior level executives at their firms (waived for Developing Leaders candidates)
- Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience (waived for Developing Leaders candidates)
- Come from the following firm types:
- Architects
- Asset managers
- Attorneys
- Brokers
- Construction
- Developers
- Financiers
- Investors
- Owners
- Are visionary and interested in future trends, challenges and opportunities confronting the commercial real estate development industry
