Developing Leaders Diversity Task Force
Purpose:
The Developing Leader Diversity Task Force facilitates the development of strategies and ideas to position NAIOP and the commercial real estate industry to attract and engage members that are diverse and reflective of the communities in which we work and live. The task force will:
- Develop a list of best practices for increasing membership diversity at the chapter level
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on how NAIOP (at the Corporate level) can best support diversity efforts with other trade associations
- Identify existing diversity efforts of local community groups, including educational systems, and assist the local NAIOP chapters with fostering a relationship with these local groups
Qualifications:
Appointments will be made based on prior corporate and local NAIOP leadership experience. The composition of the task force will seek to balance members with regards to geographical and size of chapter representation. Members of this Task Force will:
- Developing Leader Membership
- Participate in all task force meetings and conference calls.
- Review materials sent out prior to meetings and conference calls.
- Enthusiastically support the mission of NAIOP.
