Awards Committee
Purpose:
Three NAIOP committees select the winners of NAIOP's annual awards.
- Developer of the Year: This committee, along with the staff liaison, Vice President, Marketing and Communications, selects the NAIOP Developer of the Year. Committee members review all award entries to select finalists, and then do an extensive review of the finalists to identify the winner. Meets by conference call only.
- Sustainable Development Award: This committee, along with staff liaisons from Government Affairs and Marketing and Communications, selects the Sustainable Development Award winner(s). Committee members receive finalist nominations that have been selected by an independent consultant, and then do an extensive review to identify the winner(s). Meets by conference call only.
- Developing Leaders Award: This committee, along with the staff liaison, Vice President, Membership and Chapter Relations, selects the Developing Leaders Award winners. Committee members review nominees, and then make recommendations for award winners. Judges' recommendations are tallied to select the winners.
Qualifications:
Appointments will be made based on prior leadership experience with NAIOP and professional experience.
